Double glazing questions answered during lockdown

Double glazing questions answered during lockdown

As most of you know, Victoria is now under Stage 4 lockdown restrictions. As a result of this, many businesses have had to change the way they operate and interact with customers. Here at Thermotek Windows and Doors, we have received a number of questions and queries around our availability, installations and more. Please see our Covid-19 Lockdown FAQ below. If you have any questions which aren’t answered here, be sure to contact us on our website, or get in touch via social media.

Can I still get a quote?

Yes! We are currently offering virtual consultations for our customers. This allows us to get an understanding of your project, the measurements, and any other factors that come into play while still maintaining social distancing. You are also able to ask us any questions during this virtual consultation; treat it like you would a standard consultation, with a little more distance!

Click here to book your online consultation! Those with existing consultations will be called at the pre-existing time, to be shown the design options and guided on how to take the necessary measurements for your new windows and doors.

When will you be able to install my windows/doors?

With Government lockdown restrictions always changing, we cannot guarantee a certain date or time for when installations will commence again. If this lockdown ends at the expected time, we should be back up and running shortly after. Be sure to keep an eye on our socials for any updates regarding Government restrictions and social distancing.

Please note, depending on whether your window or door installation is for a new build or a renovation, different rules apply.

Will my windows/doors be installed before summer?

Pending the lockdown in Victoria, if you place your order before the end of August, your windows and doors should be installed before the end of December. This means you will be able to make the most of your windows for the majority, if not all, of the summer season. Contact us to find out more about placing an order, and booking a consultation.

Getting in Contact with Thermotek Windows and Doors

If you are still unsure of anything, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help you! We are also available over the phone, at 1300 663 861.

This is a stressful time for everyone, especially those with renovating, building or upgrading plans. At Thermotek, we want to make the process as smooth as possible, and guide you through the changes we have put into place to keep everyone safe. All of our choices are being guided by the official updates provided by the Victorian Government, and we are sure to focus on all the facts and information provided to make the safest choices for everyone.

If you are unwell or in social isolation, please let our staff know as soon as possible to reschedule your installation.

Thank you for your support, as together we all adapt to these changes.
